Dublin Farmers' Market: May 30th

Food is your body's fuel. Without fuel, your body wants to shut down.

Ken Hill

Fuel your body with food from the Dublin Farmers' Market, and when we're not in season, with things you've canned and preserved. Canning is a great way to preserve your produce beyond the growing season. Join our friends, Genevieve Reiner and Oakland Nursery and learn how to make your own jams, pickles, salsa and tomato sauce.

Dublin Farmers' Market: May 23rd

You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces--just good food from fresh ingredients.

Julia Child

Need a reason to shop the Dublin Farmers' Market? How about five of them...

Know the origin of your food. The products you buy at the Dublin Farmers' Market travel less than 70 miles to arrive at market. Compare that to the national average of 1,500 miles for products sold in the grocery store.

Try something new. The Dublin Farmers' Market represents more than 14 different product categories including dog food, gluten free, and artisan breads to name a few.

Support locally owned businesses. The Dublin Farmers' Market supports more than 20 vendors in business, employing more than 30 people each week.

Get to know your producer. You can ask questions and learn about the products you buy. How was the animal raised? What did the animal eat? When were the strawberries picked? What kind of flour is in the bread? (And chances are, you're asking the farmer or producer themselves.)

Fresh food is better for you. Fresh fruits and vegetables start to lose vitamins and nutrients as soon as they are harvested. Because most of the items you buy at the farmers' market are harvested hours before market, they have more of what we need most.

Our vendors for Wednesday, May 23rd include:

Hirsch Fruit Farm
GoldenLife Dog Food
Moffitt Maple Farm
